I ask Patricia:

1. What should we know about the Renaissance economic, social and cultural shift in our society that thru a series of events starting with a writer packing the seats for an event in Chicago and a big idea at the Philly Airport during a four-hour delay led you to write about this topic.

2. My company The Life’s Work Group equips executive and entrepreneur men in professional and personal transition. Because I believe in the different pahases of any transition, I was especially interested in your pre-conditions for a renaissance. In Chapter thirteen entitled, What will Rule in a Ren-Gen, you say thriving in the REN Gen will depend on how well you react to three pre-conditions of a Renaissance.
a.    Death comes first.
b.    The presence of a facilitating medium
c.    The rise of a beautiful mind.

3. Chapter three of your book is entitled, The Beautiful Mind. You mention that what separates one era from another is usually a discovery or event that fundamentally alters the way people understand the world. If I am someone desiring to create a business today, what can I learn and apply from those great minds before me?

4. We hear everywhere today that businesses are going green. Will we ever hear that certain businesses are Ren-Gen? And also what can we as business owners do to become a self-certified REN GEN business?

5. Do you consider RENGEN to be a cultural movement or would you define it as an awareness?

6. In Chapter 12, entitles Second Cities of the Renaissance, you provide examples of Renaissance cities, including my sister city of Seattle. What are the main influences causing you and and old to live, work, play, spend their money, and feed their soul within a certain grid square or section of a zip code?
